The Cocotte is a starter vehicle in Midnight Club II.

Real-World Resemblance

Despite being American, the Cocotte is designed after multiple European Ford hatchbacks from the mid-80s and 90s. The spoiler and rear-side windows directly resemble what's found on the Ford Sierra RS500, as well as the general body shape following it most closely. The headlights are reminiscent of the third generation Ford Escort, as well as the exaggerated front bumper being similar to its RS model. The wheels are rounded 5-spokes, like Ford Escort RS Cosworth based off the fifth generation. The taillights and widened rear fender seem to be completely original aspects of the car, not directly based off any car.

Trivia

• The word "cocotte" is the French word for casserole. It also means "a fashionable prostitute".
• Both the Cocotte and the Bryanston V have the same rims. They possibly are the same car, but from different generations.
• If the player revs the Cocotte to 6,000~ RPM and then let go off the throttle, a distinct "popping/crackling" sound can be heard. This is a common trait of a misfiring/anti-lag system, a system used in turbocharged cars to help reduce turbo lag. This "popping/crackling" sound can also be heard on the 1971 Bestia, the Alarde, the Bryanston V, the Saikou, and the Knight.
• The Cocotte, along with the Veloci, the Lusso XT, the SLF450X, the Saikou, the Modo Prego, the Emu, and the Jersey XS, is one of the cars that can fishtail.
