The Ford Shelby Cobra Concept is a two door roadster sports car in Midnight Club: Los Angeles.

Description[]

The Ford Shelby Cobra Concept is a concept car manufactured in partnership between Ford and Shelby in 2004. Debuting at the 2004 Detroit auto show, the Shelby Cobra Concept was built as a modern tribute to the classic Shelby Cobra.

It is powered by an all-aluminium V10 engine, and was built on an aluminium chassis based on the one used on the Ford GT, which also lend other parts such as suspension and several components of the frame.

Although dimensionally different from the classic Cobra, the new design includes reminiscing external features such as a large grille, side vents, and large wheel arches. In line with Carroll Shelby's designs, the concept has a very minimalist look, and omits many features such as air conditioning and a radio.

Performance[]

The car is powered by a 6.4 liter V10 engine with 645 horsepower.

Acquisition[]

The car can be purchased for $165,000 after unlocking Group 4 vehicles.

Visual Customization[]

NOTE: Due to a visual glitch with the Xenia emulator, the stock stripes are not displayed.

Widebody[]

Users[]

The Cobra Concept is driven by Annie, Carl, Lorraine and Oswaldo. Lorraine is the primary spawning racer for the Cobra Concept, and can spawn other Cobra Concept opponents.

Oswaldo's Cobra Concept[]

Oswaldo drives a blue Cobra Concept with American Racing Torqlite rims, sponsor decals and a #8 racing number. It's license plate reads Surreal. He occasionally spawns in his Cobra if Lorraine and Carl are also present in the race (even if one of the two aforementioned racers drive their Mercedes-Benz S600).

However, in some higher tier races, Oswaldo rides a blue Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 instead if Lester also spawns on his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14, which he uses as the Motorcycle Champ, especially, when the player brings out a maxed Cobra or any of the other Exotics.

Trivia[]

  • Both Cobra Concept driving opponents from the South Central DLC also drive a Mercedes-Benz S600.
